Garington Field’s Story
The farmer
If you had told me I’d be a flower farmer someday, I would’ve laughed. But here we are! I’m Lindsay—owner and grower behind Garington Field.
Life has taken me through a lot of moves and career changes, thanks in part to my husband’s military days. I’ve gone from interior design to teaching life sciences, and now…flowers. When we moved back to Texas and found our 30 acres, the idea to grow flowers just clicked. I took a leap, learned everything I could, and got started.
These days, I farm part-time while working full-time in county education. Garington Field is my way of bringing fresh, locally grown flowers to Northeast Texas—flowers that are grown with our climate in mind and as naturally as possible.
Flowers make me happy, and I hope they do the same for you. I’m so glad you’re here and can’t wait to be a small part of your story.

The field
Garington Field is named after our dog, Gary—aka “Sir Garington.” He’s a corgi/spaniel mix we adopted years ago in California and has been running the show ever since. He’s my trusty sidekick in the garden and personally “quality checks” every flower.
Right now, we’re growing on about a tenth of an acre, keeping things small and manageable while I learn, grow, and balance a full-time job. Our land is mostly wooded, so there’s plenty of room to expand down the road.
One day, we hope to welcome you out for you-picks and special events. This place is really special to us, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
